Myanmar River Cruises from May to September
Cruises between Mandalay & Bhamo:
The most spectacular part of the Ayeyarwaddy River.
Specially the magnificent 2nd Defile, with its
green-clad mountains, just before it reaches the old
trading post of Bhamo. The 3rd Defile begins near
Thabeikkyin, a small town on the river bank of the
Ayeyarwaddy River and very famous for their gold
production. In this area the rare and endangered
Irrawaddy Dolphins can be seen.

Chindwin River Cruises:
The Chindwin River is the second most important river in
Myanmar. The Chindwin valley is an isolated area, and
less populated than the lands along the Ayeyarwaddy, and
even in this country of old traditions, the people of
Chindwin live very conservatively and contentedly along
this great river.
Yangon River Cruises:
The Yangon River (also known as Rangoon River or Hlaing
River) is an estuary that runs from Yangon to the
Andaman Sea. The channel is navigable by ocean-going
vessels and is thus plays a critical role in the economy
of Myanmar. If your time in the delta area is limited,
Twante, a small town noted for its pottery,
cotten-wieving and an old Mon Monastery complex, is a
worthwhile day trip.
