Walk with thousands of pilgrims up to the
Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, a massive granite
boulder, covered with gold leaf, and
precariously balanced over the edge of the
mountain, it is purported to be held in
place, "balanced on hairs of the Buddha". On
the way back visit Bago, used to be the
ancient capital of the Mon Kings from the
14th through the 16th century and that of
the Second Myanmar Empire founded by King
Bayinnaung.

Nights Kyaing Tong
Kyaing Tong, is well known for its scenic
beauty and many colorful ethnic tribes. Our
local guide will take to the Pin Tauk area
and introduce you to the villagers of Khun
tribes, Red Palaung tribes and Lahu tribes
and to Ho Kyin village with Akha tribes,
still wearing traditional costumes with
silver coils.
