OUR GENERAL CONDITIONS

BOOKING:

You may send your booking request by filling up our booking form (booking form) or dispatch to us informally in writing.

To do the reservation for your trip we need following information from you:

- Arrival - and departure day with flight numbers and flight times
- Number of persons
- Full names
- Nationality
- Passport numbers
- Desired hotel category
- Double room / two-bed room / single room
- Guide / desired language

CONFIRMATION:

After we received your booking request, we will do all necessary reservations and send you the up-dated booking status within 2 days. As soon as all hotels and domestic flights confirmed in written we will send you our invoice.

BANK ACCOUNT:

With our invoice you will also receive our bank account details. You may transfer the money in US$ to our bank account in Bangkok, or in EURO to our bank account in Germany.

PAYMENT:

By round trips without beach vacation and/or longer river cruises:
Upon tour confirmation, a deposit of US$ 250, -- per person is requested in order to guarantee your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable, in case you cancel the trip from your side.

By combined round trips with beach vacation and/or longer river cruises:
Upon tour confirmation, a deposit of 30% is requested in order to guarantee your reservation. From this deposit US$ 250,-- per person is non-refundable, in case you cancel the trip from your side. The balance will be paid back, according to our cancellation policy, within 1 week.

The amount stated in invoice should be credited in full regardless of any bank transfer charges.

The remaining balance you may pay in US$ cash upon arrival in Myanmar, or transfer 14 days before your arrival to our bank account.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation fees may occur if cancellation is given after the booking is confirmed. Most hotels have a cancellation deadline of 4 weeks. Special conditions apply for cruises, beach resorts and boutique Hotels.

CANCELLATION FEES:

By round trips without beach vacation and/or longer river cruises:
Up to 15 days before arrival: US$ 250,-- per person
14 to 8 days before arrival: 50% of total amount
7 to 3 days before arrival: 80% of total amount
From 2 days and no show: 100% of total amount

By combined round trips with beach vacation and/or longer river cruises:
Up to 46 days before arrival: US$ 250,-- per person
45 to 31 days before arrival: 30% of total amount
30 to 21 days before arrival: 50% of total amount
20 to 7 days before arrival: 80% of total amount
From 6 days and no show: 100% of total amount

Regardless of above mentioned cancellation fees, some ship-owner have other contract conditions, which are specially specified in your reservation confirmation and are binding for you. In order to cover any risk of cancellation fess, we highly recommend a travel insurance.

A change of tour date within 31 days will be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply accordingly.

A re-booking fee of US$ 25, -- per person will be charged for any revision or alternation after the booking is confirmed.

CHILD POLICY:

We guarantee special discounts for children between 2 and 12 years sharing the same room with their parents.
With extra bed: 25% of adult price
Without extra bed: 50% of adult price
Child under 2 years is free of charge subject to existing bedding arrangement.
A maximum of two children per party is granted such a discount.

INSURANCE:

We recommend travel insurance to cover accidents, theft or cancellation.

EXEMPTION FROM LIABILITY

Shwe Yoo Travels & Tours Co., Ltd. acts only on behalf of airlines, hotels, transport operators and other service companies providing services. Therefore Shwe Yoo Travels & Tours Co., Ltd. is not responsible for any loss, accidents, injury to health and other personal damage, in case of death, personal losses, delays, breakdown of conveyances, labor disputes, acts of war and civil war.
Additional expenses caused by Acts of God, stormy weather or others (as mentioned above) must be born by the tourists. No rain cheques or compensation will be given for non-attendance, rain or cancelled activities. Meals not taken are not refundable.

Shwe Yoo Travels & Tours Co., Ltd. reserves the right to alter the program if necessary due to reasons beyond our control or in the interest of our clients. In this case Shwe Yoo Travels & Tours Co., Ltd. will undertake to offer sufficient and satisfactory alternatives.

Bookings made to Shwe Yoo Travels & Tours Co., Ltd. implies that you agree to the above mentioned conditions.
