Travel from Yangon to Bago, the ancient capital of the Mon Kingdom from the 14th to the 16th century, and onwards to enjoy a placid visit to Taungoo where you will get a deep insight into daily Burmese life. You will visit an actual elephant camp in the Bago Mountains, stay overnight in a little Karen village and travel onwards to Pyay, the former Pyu capital Sriksetra, a small paradise for archaeologists.
