6 Days (5 nights) The Royal Capitals from Bagan to Mandalay

Board the RV Paukan and experience an unforgettable river cruise on the Ayeyarwady. From Bagan, known as the ‘city of four million pagodas’, the journey continues to Mandalay, the last royal city of Myanmar. Visit Yandabo, a village specialising in pottery. See the amazing caves of Hpo Win Daung and Shweba Daung, where hundreds of Buddha statues and beautiful wall paintings can be found. Explore Mingun, which is home to the largest intact bell in the world and the never-completed Mingun Pagoda. Discover the old royal city of Ava by horse-drawn carriage and walk across the 1,200-metre-long U Bein bridge, the longest teakwood bridge in the world.

Day 01 BAGAN (L, D)

The embarkation time is between 08:00 and 09:00. Full day visit of a selection of the 2000 listed pagodas and temples. Embark the ship before lunch; after continue the exploration of the archeological area. Dinner and overnight on board.
 

Day 02 BAGAN – RIVER VILLAGE (B, L, D)

Option Terms:

We can hold your reservation on option according to the following timeline.

If the option requested date is

  • More than 181 days before departure: 45 days
  • Between 180 and 151 days: 30 days
  • Between 150 and 61 days: 15 days
  • Between 60 and 31 days: 7 days
  • Between 30 and 10 days: 2 days

Deposit:

To secure your reservation, a 30% deposit is required within the option expiration date.
If payment is not received within the stated option deadline the cabins will be released.

CANCELLATION TERMS

The cancellation notice must be received in writing either by e-mail or fax. It will be effective on the date of receipt. Cancellation charges, per person, are based upon the date of cancellation:

  • Up to 61 days: 30% of cruise fare (the Deposit)
  • From 60-31 days: 50% of cruise fare
  • From 30 days to “no show”: 100% of cruise fare

Full payment or final balances:

Must be received via bank transfer within 31 days prior to departure. Payment failure may be treated as a cancellation and the cancellation charges apply. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

For all departures should the occupancy be less than 10 PASSENGERS for Short Discovery Cruise and 12 PASSENGERS for Discovery and Expedition Cruises, the Company reserves the right to cancel the cruise up to 60 days prior the departure date. A written confirmation notice will be released to all booked clients and/or their agents within and not later than 60 days prior the departure date. In case of cancellation an alternative cruise will be offered and if not acceptable all down payments will be refunded. 

Operating Vessel

Ayravata Cruises reserves the right at its sole option and discretion, without any liability for damages or refund, of any kind to arrange for substantially equivalent transportation by another vessel, whether belonging to the company or not.
