21 DAYS IN MYANMAR – A GLIMPSE OF THE OLD BURMA

Visit Yangon (Rangoon), with its colonial atmosphere and world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda, and travel together with thousands of pilgrims up to the Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda. Fly to Inle Lake, famous for its unique one-leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life out on the water. Explore the unspoilt culture and traditional lifestyle of the Pao and Inthas. Travel to Pindaya, a charming village with a paper umbrella cottage industry. Walk through Kalaw, a beautiful pine-clad hill station. Drive to Mandalay, the last royal capital of Burma. Board the RV Paukan 2007 for an unforgettable river cruise to Bagan, one of Asia’s richest archaeological sites, and spend a few days at Ngwe Saung beach in the Bay of Bengal. The white sand and blue seas of this unspoilt beach stretch for over 15 kilometres.
