RIVER CRUISE ON THE AYEYARWADDY RIVER BETWEEN
MANDALAY & BAGAN:
A journey along the Ayeyarwady River is a voyage of a

of the country, treasures can be admired which have for
so long been hidden from the world’s gaze.

With The Road To Mandalay:
The
Road To Mandalay incorporates elegant Burmese materials
and unique styles with high standards in decor and
modern comfort.
Air-conditioned throughout, the ship has 4 decks and
accommodates 110 passengers. All of the 58 spacious
cabins are sympathetically decorated using Burmese style
fabrics. Facilities on board include a Restaurant, Piano
Bar, Boutique, Beauty Salon, small Library and a
spacious Lounge, where local entertainment and cultural
lectures take place during the cruise.
The Observation Deck has a swimming pool, bar and sun
deck area and provides, quite simply, the best views in
Myanmar.

With Pandaw River Cruises (Pandaw II and Pandaw IV)
The RV Pandaw II was built in Yangon in 2001 and RV
Pandaw IV in 2004 after the historic vessel built in
Scotland in 1948 for the shallow conditions of the
Ayeyarwaddy. The Irrawaddy Flotilla Company started
river cruises in Myanmar and created the Bagan- Mandalay
routing in 1998 with its interesting stops.

With the RV Pandaw 1947:
The RV Pandaw 1947 was built in Scotland in 1947 for
the shallow conditions of the Ayeyarwaddy. The Pandaw is
a ship laden with charm, atmosphere and character. With
fine cuisine and high standards of service a cruise on
the RV Pandaw 1947 is a unique travel experience.

With RV Paukan 2007:
The lovely Paukan is a boutique hotel on the river,
beautifully furnished with a unique combination of
modern and traditional motifs. The timber-walled cabins
are furnished with colonial style cupboards, dresser and
doors while the ceiling is traditional Myanmar. The
single or double beds are proper and comfortable ones
and not mere bunks, enough room for 55 passengers who
will be looked after by a 30-member crew.
For luxury-living, Paukan has suites, deluxe or superior
cabins as well as singles for guest or guides. There are
two massage rooms on the lower deck offering traditional
Myanmar massage designed to give soothing relaxation.
